Get thieves chained!

Get thieves chained!

Losing property and not being able to recover it can be a nightmare. Tirelo Jackson Moetele is among many individuals who have tasted the pain of losing property and not being able to recover it.

Speaking to WeekendLife, Tirelo said he lost multimedia work equipment worth P25, 000 and never recovered it. He said the pain of losing his equipment and not being able to recover it was one of the hardest things he ever had to deal with. According to Tirelo, this was a serious throwback for him because the equipment was for his side hustle. He said the experience of losing his equipment made him think of ways to help people recover their lost or stolen property.

As part of coming up with a solution, he started researching about tracking devices in December 2018, after he retired from teaching. Tirelo said he was a computer teacher for 10 years, since 2008. He said having experience in IT and computers made things easy for him when he ventured into property tracking.

Tirelo said, “I learned about tracking chips on the internet, and I started researching about how chips work in terms of tracking property. After much research iTreq inc was born in January 2019, we track everything and anything. We track household appliances like laptops, TV’s, fridges, microwaves, gate motors. We track office equipment like computers, printers, copiers, projectors. We also track vehicles amongst them being cars, trucks, TLB’s, excavators, tailors, mobile fridges, and kitchens. We also track farm equipment like solar panels, control boxes, generators, batteries, and pumps. We have not been able to find suitable trackers for cellphones, our services do not have cellphones tracking devices yet.”

Tirelo said tracking property has borne fruits because they have managed to recover stolen property for most of their clients. He said he always advises his clients to get in touch with them as soon as they lose their property. Tirelo said he attends to his clients as soon as they report their missing property.

He said, “I understand that when one loses their property time is very crucial. We have observed that majority of the time our clients lose their property to theft. We understand that if we do not act immediately chances are high that we might never recover their property. So, we always ensure that we act immediately so that we recover the property of our clients and also catch culprits red handed. We have caught culprits before and managed to recover property of our clients on numerous occasions, with the help of the police.”

He said whenever his clients report to him about missing property he advises them to report the matter to the police so that they help with the arrest. Tirelo highlighted that, “most culprits we caught with our client’s property are young people. They are youth with age range from 16 to mid-30 years. We have observed that most property stolen are laptops, cellphones, and TV’s. We know and understand that thieves are advanced in technology, with our trackers it is hard for thieves to identify them and take them out. We have caught so many thieves with our clients’ goods and not knowing that those very goods were tracked.”

He said the police department appreciates their services especially with escalating crime cases reported daily. Tirelo advised people and organizations to get hold of them in order to accesses their services. he said they should ensure that their property is protected by tracking them.
