It is every woman’s dream to find themselves jaunting stilettoes without much effort. They say ‘it’s hard not be sexy in a pair of high heels.’ A woman is sexier when they can perfectly walk in heels without struggling. Hence why Styleworx is bringing a Stiletto Masterclass to bring women’s dream of flawlessly walking on stilettos a dream come true.
The event which will be held on October 31, aims to teach women the techniques of walking in high heels, exercising to easily walk on heels, the physical and mental aspect of it, the benefits of walking on heels as well as boosting personality traits using high heels.
While some people are perfectly content with flat shoes or pumps, research shows that women in heels are more appealing and sexier than those in flats.
“This will be the first of its kind in Botswana and loaded with so much beauty and fabulousness while learning how to strut your feet into a successful life. When you leave the event you will be informed with so much knowledge on stilettos. The objective of the Masterclass is for attendees to learn, master and celebrate the woman you are with one heel at a time,” said Amogelang Ngazimbi, the organiser of the event.
The Masterclass will be graced by the powerhouse in the beauty industry in Africa; Buyi Xaba, CEO and founder of BX Cosmetics South Africa, who is also the Masterclass main Sponsor. She is also former Head of Black Opal South Africa. Xaba made it possible for Somizi Mhlongo to become the brand ambassador. She is also the Vice President of Professional Makeup Artist Alliance Africa and co-founder of Thee Cosmetics Lusaka, Zambia.
“Packaging and branding yourself better is very imperative if you want to get ahead in this world. Image is very vital and that comes with how you walk and look. Dressing up has become the in thing or let me say trending if l may put it that way. One cannot afford to rock up at an elegant event in Pumps or flats. We all want to stand out and by so doing you need the right set of Heels to pull that off,” Ngazimbi said.
“Come and interact with phenomenal women from all walks of life. Students finishing school this year have been given an opportunity to come get inspired and be mentored and getting prepared for the corporate world. We have planned to nominate the top 5 winners who would get this opportunity on Facebook.”
Psychologist, Paul Morris and his colleagues stated that when you rate a woman on her heel-walking alone, apparently, there is a change in her gait. With heels, there is a reduced stride, and increased rotation and tilt of the hips. In other words, she struts. The study, published in the academic journal ‘Evolution and Human Behaviour’, found that for all walkers, attractiveness was rated much higher in heels compared with the ?at shoes condition. Both males and females judged high heels to be more attractive than ?at shoes
Creativity is seen everywhere and these individuals did something recently that’s never been done before, and some are still killing it. We see creativity on streaming platforms, stages, runways, social media and boardrooms even. Some of them are revamping their businesses, and lately, clothing sale is thriving.
They love concept-driven designs, storytelling and they bring fresh ideas and new perspectives that will leave footprints in the sand. Post the COVID-19 pandemic, these creative minds utilized the drawing board and they became cognizant that monetizing content will actually take them far, which is frank nonetheless.
This is commendable though, but the creative industry will still need support from government in order for it to flourish further. Allocation of resources (funds, facilities and empowerment) should be done consistently, creativity must be raised and at the end of the day, the economy benefits from that kind of investment.
