Mobile Solution has launched Seek It, a smart phone app that allows clients to list their businesses to target clients and to provide an easy way of engaging customers to access latest information about their business.
Seek It App is a full service Android mobile marketing app specializing in providing innovative, engaging, traffic driven, cost effective smart marketing to the business in Botswana. The App has been brought forth as a way of marketing businesses so that customers can easily identify them. The application’s end users are both tourists and local residents who need to find their way around Botswana. The CEO of Mobile Solutions, Mackitosh Kapaya, said that they have made it easier for people to see companies and to also put companies in a better leverage through the app. He added that most companies are not pinned on Google apps.
“We realized that most companies and hospitals cannot be identified through Google apps and that makes it hard for tourists to locate facilities when they are visiting our country,” he explained. The App is not too different from Google Maps, Kapaya also revealed. “We are not different from Google maps, we used google apps to actually come up with a solution,” he clarified. The app has been made in such a way that it can be updated on regular basis. It relays information on how far you are from a certain place in that particular moment. Companies that are listed or pinned to the app cannot be visible upon request as they need to be pinned first. It works like a directory and people can also openly express their views on the places they have visited.
Opelo Mothokothedi, who is a business partner of Mobile Solutions, added that their aim is to provide the best service to their client. “Our aim is to increase overall brand exposure for all listed companies, to increase brand loyalty with in-App digital loyalty scheme, to optimize digital experience for mobile users across all android devices and to enhance business social media strategies by increasing follower numbers.” He further said that they aim to track and analyze all mobile interactions to better market listed businesses.
At the product launch, the Honorable Minister of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security, Honourable Sadique Kebonang, said that the government of Botswana is no less committed to supporting the development of the smart phone industry. “Government departments are continually looking at ways to deliver customized, on demand mobile services to the public. These enable quick and convenient access to Government information and services and this will only continue to grow, with the emergence of companies such as App Smart(PTY)ltd and products such as Seek It.”
Creativity is seen everywhere and these individuals did something recently that’s never been done before, and some are still killing it. We see creativity on streaming platforms, stages, runways, social media and boardrooms even. Some of them are revamping their businesses, and lately, clothing sale is thriving.
They love concept-driven designs, storytelling and they bring fresh ideas and new perspectives that will leave footprints in the sand. Post the COVID-19 pandemic, these creative minds utilized the drawing board and they became cognizant that monetizing content will actually take them far, which is frank nonetheless.
This is commendable though, but the creative industry will still need support from government in order for it to flourish further. Allocation of resources (funds, facilities and empowerment) should be done consistently, creativity must be raised and at the end of the day, the economy benefits from that kind of investment.
