Limkokwing University will host a week-long Open Day starting 16th-20th April 2018 with the official opening scheduled for Tuesday 17th April, 2018. The 2nd annual Open-Day is targeted at the prospective 2018 new intake students, parents, industry captains, professional trainers, human resource development professionals and the general public.
The University aims to give targeted audiences an opportunity to come and experience an exciting learning environment that builds skills and unlocks creativity and talent. The Open Day is also designed to equip the senior secondary school leavers the opportunity to learn more about their career paths before they choose their desired programs of study from the University’s 54 Fully Accredited Programs that will secure graduates with high-income future careers.
Limkokwing University Director for Communications & Stakeholder Relations explained that through the Open Day they also want to give the prospective students who showed great interest in enrolling with us at the just ended Botswana Human Resource Development Skills Fair another opportunity to experience the creative & vibrant learning environment before enrolling with us for the July 2018 New Intake. Ms Thebe also highlighted that the week long event will give their prospective and current students as well as graduates and prospective/current employers the opportunity to dialogue on issues of the University’s curriculum relevance and its quality in reference to the industry needs.
Planned activities for the Open Day will include, touring of the universities high-tech facilities and specialized labs across various faculties, exhibition of students works & digital presentations, shared information about the programmes Accreditation Status, interaction with faculty specialists, successful alumni & students and professional counseling on career guidance and pathways.
