Phikwe Invasion Festival will be on the 22nd June, 2019 alongside the Toyota 1 000 Desert Race. The festival, the biggest of its kind in the history of the sleepy Selebi Phikwe town will have on its line-up local and foreign artists.

On the international front, Mafikizolo will headline the show alongside, Master KG and Amapiano of the "Baby are you coming" hit song. On the local front it will be Charma Gal, Vee, ATI, La Timmy, Groovysouls and Drak (best known for his song, Ke ya Phikwe). On the Decks it will be DJ Bino, Dj Tropix and Dj Sly. According to a spokesperson of the organisers of the show, Mr Gilbert PP Seagile, the show will start at 1400hrs and run until the following day at 0600hrs. Entrance is P100 elsewhere and P 500 for VIP.

"Security will be very tight and we call upon the patrons to come on time to avoid congestion at the entrance," said Seagile. The venue for the festival is Makhubu Softball Club ground. Tickets are already on sale from the Selebi Phikwe Liqourama outlets, Mall Motors in Phikwe and Web Tickets. "A limit has been set on the tickets to be sold and therefore we urge those who want to attend to start buying tickets now to avoid disappointment. Up to the 20th June the tickets will be selling for P 100. Beyond that it will be P 150," he concluded.
